Non-Woven Geotextiles

Geotextiles for the purpose of soil filtration, roadway stabilization and other civil engineering projects.

Nonwoven Fabrics (Needle Punched)

These fabrics are designed to filter soil particles from drainage systems and stabilize roadways to increase performance life. Nonwovens are ideal for a variety of civil engineering applications including:

  • Subsurface Drainage
  • Roadway Separation
  • Railroad Stabilization
  • Hard Armor Underlayment
  • Landfill Leachate Collection
  • Underground Detention/Retention System

Nonwoven Fabrics (Spunbonded)

ADS geosynthetic fabric is made from a continuous polypropylene filament spun uniformly over a flat surface to make a flat, mat-like fiber. The crossed filaments are then thermally bonded together, rather than woven, into a tear-resistant material creating a filtration medium that offers excellent uniformity, puncture resistance and filtration efficiencies.

  • Excellent tear resistance
  • Excellent puncture resistance
  • Increases performance life of roadways
  • Offers filtration efficiencies

Product Information

Nonwoven fabrics are made by extruding continuous filaments of polypropylene which are then cut, opened, laid into a web, needle-punched, heat-set and rolled into the finished product. These geotextiles are approved by many local, state and federal agencies including the Federal Highway Administration, U.S. Army Corps of engineers, the environmental Protection Agency and AASHTO.
