Matching the right fabric to a specific application is paramount for the success of any project. ADS provides the widest variety of woven and non-woven geosynthetic materials in the industry to meet drainage, separation, stabilization and soil reinforcement needs.

Non-woven Fabrics (Needle Punched)

These fabrics are designed to increase the performance life by filtering soil particles from drainage systems and stabilizing roadways. Non-woven fabrics are made by extruding continuous filaments of polypropylene which are then cut, opened, laid into a web, needle-punched, heat-set and rolled into the finished product.

Non-woven Fabrics (Spunbonded)

ADS geosynthetic fabric is made from a continuous polypropylene filament, which is spun uniformly over a flat surface to make a flat, mat-like fiber. The crossed filaments are then thermally bonded together, rather than woven, into a tear-resistant material. This creates a filtration medium that offers excellent uniformity, puncture resistance and filtration efficiencies.

Woven Fabrics

These fabrics are manufactured from extruded polypropylene monofilaments, interlaced to form a dimensionally stable construction fabric. This process produces a premium filter with superb resistant to soil and biological clogging. A full range of high-quality filtration fabrics offers designers several choices for percent open area (POA), the single most important property in the selection of a woven geosynthetic filter.

Woven Slit Tape Geotextiles

These unique fabrics are made by extruding and slitting a polypropylene film, then incorporating an ISO-9002 certified manufacturing process that weaves individual flat yarns into geotextiles featuring high tensile strengths at low elongation (high tensile modulus). These characteristics allow the geotextiles to distribute loads, reduce rutting and extend the life of roads or provide substantial sediment barriers.
