The Ohio FFA Association named the winners of the 2012 Proficiency Awards during the 84th Annual State FFA Convention. The event was held in the Celeste Center at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus May 3-4, 2012.
Justin Pursel, from the Pettisville FFA chapter, was named the 2012 Environmental Science and Natural Resources Management Proficiency Award Winner. Advanced Drainage Systems sponsored the Environmental Science and Natural Resources Management Proficiency Award through a partnership with the Ohio FFA Foundation Inc.
Justin Pursel, son of Jason and Karla Pursel, is a junior in the Pettisville FFA Chapter, where his advisor is John Poulson. Justin has invested over four hundred hours working around the farm. After graduation, Justin plans on attending college and one day returning to his business.
